Q:How many pounds does it take to make a gallon of wine?

A: It takes about 15 pounds of grapes (before they are crushed) to give you one

gallon of wine. After you destem and crush the grapes it will weigh less.

Q: What are brix counts?

A: The Brix count is the percentage of sugar in the grape juice. It changes

depending on the weather and temperature. We keep the Brix count for our

grapes updated in the Brix Count section.

Q: When will the grapes be ready?

A: The grapes are usually ready the first week of October. It often depends on the

type of grape and the weather.

Q: What kind of grapes do you have?

A: We have Pinot Noir, Gewurztraminer, and Riesling for picking.

Q: Is there a destemmer/crusher and press?

A: We do have a destemmer/crusher and press that is free to use for anyone who

picks over 100 pounds. People who pick under 100 pounds are welcome to

use it too, but there is a small fee.

Q: What are your hours?

A: We do not have set hours. You can just contact us with what type of grapes you

would like and how much. Then we set up a time that works for you to come

out and pick
